Democrats looking for a campaign year messaging reset are settling on “Democrats Deliver.” And it looks like voters agree with this message. According to a new Emerson College poll, “a plurality (39%) blame the Biden Administration” for record-high gas prices while only “21% blame the sanctions on Russia, and 18% blame gas and oil companies.”
On top of placing the blame solely at the feet of Joe Biden and Senate Democrats, 83% of voters say that they’ve felt some level of hardship due to the soaring costs of everything from gas and clothes to utilities and rent. That’s because since Democrats took control of Washington, the cost of everyday goods has outpaced any wage increases families and workers might’ve enjoyed.
