The Biden Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) plans to strictly limit the use of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), the most commonly used refrigerant in air conditioners and refrigerators. According to reports, the Biden Administration has finalized a rule to reduce use of HFCs by 85 percent over the next 15 years.
