Dorothy Frame works for Fort Campbell’s Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. Even though she is not a member of LIUNA (Laborers’ International Union of North America), the union is still forcing her to pay dues. Her dues are used to finance pro-abortion organizations, which goes against the religious views of Dorothy Frame. This, however, does not matter to the union bosses. As a result, she is suing them for religious discrimination, with help from the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation.
In The Daily Caller, National Right to Work Foundation President Mark Mix is quoted:
“LIUNA officials have put their arrogance and callousness on full display by forcing Ms. Frame to choose between losing her job and severely compromising her religious beliefs,” said National Right to Work Foundation (NRTW) President Mark Mix. “Denying an individual a simple religious accommodation is a clear violation of federal law, and Foundation attorneys will fight for Ms. Frame until she gets one.”MARK MIX, AS QUOTED IN THE DAILY CALLER
