Political outsider, successful business leader, and Republican nominee for governor Glenn Youngkin’s campaign launched a seven-figure statewide TV ad campaign highlighting his support for parents, students and teachers.
During the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce debate, Terry McAuliffe made a shocking and disqualifying statement: “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.” Terry showed us his heart when he said that parents don’t matter.
Glenn Youngkin believes that parents matter, and he’ll never put government bureaucrats or politicians between parents and their kids. As governor, Glenn will empower parents and restore excellence and common sense in education by investing in the largest education budget in Virginia history.
“Virginia parents are rejecting Terry McAuliffe’s belief that they should be shut out of the schools and kept in the dark about what his special interest union allies and government bureaucrats push on their children in the classroom,” said Youngkin campaign spokesperson Christian Martinez. “Parents want their children to receive a great education and they want to be involved in it, which is why we’ve seen this campaign turn into a movement. Glenn Youngkin is the only candidate listening to parents, and that’s why Republicans, Democrats, and Independents are voting for Glenn to be Virginia’s next governor.”
